"a doctor can face reprimand for inadvertent error but an alternative practitioner can get away with intentional harm. This is not a reason to excuse the former but to regulate the latter."

There's a bar in Benalmedina where they celebrate St David's Day with faggots and peas! We know this because we were there and you couldn't move for dragons. Now I like faggots as well as the next person but in Spain? There a...

In the same way Tories argue that Scottish politicians shouldn't be allowed to vote on ‘English’ issues - I’d rule that you couldn't vote on anything to do with the NHS if you have private health insurance. Ditto education.
Tax avoiders would be rounded up and sent off to live (with all the other selfish spiteful people) on an atoll made entirely of money, adrift in shark-infested waters.

No, I don't, really ;) It's always annoyed me, Valentine's Day. Ever since I was a teenager -- a rather fat and serious teenager. That's me in the front row -- the little dumpy one, aged 17, and I never sprouted. Boys didn't...

It's a great place -- lovely ambience. Good food. I needed a low fat option and though there were vegan options, those are not necessarily low in fat. But they obliged me with a vegan salad with the dressing brought in a small bowl on the side and I ate the salad naked -- it was delicious! We ate an almond meringue between two -- HUGE thing! and equally gorgeous!! Nice place.

It wasn't the food so much as the attitude. I need a low fat option because of a medical condition but I was friends who didn't. I asked what I could have a rather dismissively the waiter said, 'Steamed chicken'. Then after explaining at length what I required, they brought my salad smothered in OLIVE OIL. I said, Erm this salad has oil on it and the waiter said, 'But it's good oil -- olive oil.' You know the bit about the customer being right? Where'd that go? Another Italian place we went to later in our trip could not have been more helpful. I ended up eating the soup and the grilled steak but no salad and no dessert. I have to say the others in my party were not that impressed either!
