Closing the gap? Telcos are expected to spend 48% more in 2013 on so-called fourth-generation wireless hardware in EMEA than they did in 2012 -- helping close a technology gap with the US and Asia.

Bubbling business: More than 30 regional colas have sprung up in France in the last decade, from Brittany's Breizh Cola to Alsace's Elsass-Cola.

Now two new colas -- Paris Cola and Parisgo Cola -- are launching in Paris this summer.
