The wait staff was curt and inattentive and the food was sub par. Even simple plates like French toast were chewy and overcooked. The place is expensive and the food and service do not make the price worth it. The restaurant is cute though, with little tables, a classic French vibe, and a patio for warmer weather.

Great food, especially the pate. Good server. The basement table was not that wonderful, though, and took away from the experience.

Just tried it this afternoon for a hearty lunch after weeks of cafeteria food. Excellent quality with super friendly and pretty quick service (i wasn't expecting that after reading all the other reviews). I would recommend the escargot, onion soup, steak frites, n cog au vin. Can't comment about the wine since i'm barely legal to drink. Definitely gonna come back for more.

french bistro style food which is excellent. recommend the half-chicken and the choices of wines is very good. look out for the chocolate eiffel tower with one of the desserts.

Finally a great restaurant with really good food in Boston. Everything from the bread the service in the beginning the appetizers (don't miss the beet salad and the oysters) through the carefully selected entres to the wines and desserts. Good service, nice decor, Great experience...

we love coming here! the food is very good, especially the steak. they have some traditional french food and some more americanized food. our only reservation is that the food prices keep rising - but its still reasonably priced.

a tuesday night dinner at this out-of-the-way place was a truly happy experience. we had a comfortable window table and smooth attentive service. salads were tasty, and there was a nice variety of available main courses. we found both beef and salmon entres very good, and both were served hot and attractively plated. the selection of wines by the glass was interesting and adequate, and we also had a nice sauterne with our good sorbet desserts. the restaurant was neither crowded nor noisy, although busy enough to have some buzz. we'd go again.

is the food good? not really. but it's the best place to get authentic french bistro food prepared authentically in the western suburbs.
