Being sad or mad don't have to be perceived as negative emotions. Turn towards the rainbow of feelings you have on a daily basis. It's often our knee-jerk reaction to avoid anything that's uncomfortable. But sometimes, dealing directly with our pain is the only path towards healing. Change your relationship with emotional discomfort, it can be an ally in personal growth. As the saying goes, "no pain, no gain."

While #1sttrimester meant it was impossible to get out of bed, #2ndtrimester feels like I'm on caffeine and amphetamines! #productivitybuzz

Good to know, though my first thought was: yet another way moms can feel pressure and guilt for possibly not being perfect enough for their child. It's exhausting keeping up with all of the research and yet also maintaining a modicum of mental health. It's enough to make a person crazy!
