Compared with 232,000 pre-orders for the Tesla Model S in just one day, Faraday Future clearly couldn't compete with Elon Musk's EV vessels. However, over 64,000 reservations is definitely not bad, at least for market disrupters. It could mean $320 million if every customer paid the $5,000 deposit for priority access.
Just two days after Faraday Future debuted its long-awaited electric vehicle FF91 at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, the company posted on Twitter that it has secured 64,124 reservations in less than 36 hours.

While not all plug-in hybrids work the same way, most models start in all-electric mode, running on electricity until their battery packs are depleted, then switch to hybrid mode. Known as binary mode control, this EMS strategy is easy to apply, but isn't the most efficient way to combine the two power sources.
Engineers have taken inspiration from biological evolution and the energy savings garnered by birds flying in formation to improve the efficiency of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles by more than 30 percent.

A page to tell you all about the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project brought to you by the Air Resources Board.
Introduction
Since 2010, the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project has put over 100,000 clean vehicles on California roads. A project created by California's Air Resources Board, the CVRP is designed to promote the purchase of battery electric, plug-in hybrid electric, and fuel cell vehicles.

Rebates of up to $5,000 per light-duty vehicle are available for individuals, nonprofits, government entities, and business owners who purchase or lease an eligible vehicle.

This page is a place to learn all about the project, the application statistics and about news related to green-tech vehicles.
