I have a question for anybody part of the official BCI community - I've noticed that a number of the officially published words (that I have in PNG format) consist of symbols that individually are not officially published. Examples of these: rocket, rocking chair (rocking), website, wide, watch(to), cushion, Danish_(language), democracy, naughty, not_nice, electro_magnet, explorer, enquirer, eyeliner, kohl, find, possible, possibly, correctness, poetry, lose.

Is anyone able to propose adding the missing symbols to the published list, or pass this list onto someone that may be able to?

For context, I am trying to build a Bliss typing tool but in order to be able to write those words, the user needs to be able to type the symbols that make them up, which isn't possible using only the published symbols today.

Thanks!

If it's interesting to others, this page is the keyboard I use to type Bliss! https://owencm.github.io/bliss-keyboard/

This is really cool, and I love using the app. +Paul Lewis, I'm curious why you couldn't use the Ogg decoder bundled with the fork of Recorderjs to decode back into a Wav for Web Audio to play?

The hourly newscast frequently gives me the same news as the previous one. Can you chunk it up and only play me segments that are actually news, or involve updated information rather than repeating the news?

An interesting library (and discussion) for easily generating blissymbols from English
I hacked together a basic website to generate #Blissymbolics/#Semantography pictures.  It's rather rough, so if you find any bugs, please let me know.

I feel like Bliss has a big discoverability online, largely due to it's 3 possible names, Blissymbolics, Blissymbols and Semantography. I wish we could standardize on one to ease online discoverability!

I've made a community for us to discuss Blissymbolics. I'd love to see more group collaboration on translating works into bliss and building tools to make bliss easier to write.
