Hey,  With Garmin's new Forerunner 225 out this month, I thought I'd compare the differences between this and the older 220, which I've worn over the last year.

Now I hate wearing a chest strap to measure my pulse when I run, so it's good to see that the 225 can measure heart rate straight from the wrist. See all the differences between these running watches in my latest post...
With a built in heart rate sensor, activity and sleep tracking inside the Forerunner 225, Rob compares it against the cheaper priced FR220.

Still looking for a company that takes the Adidas Smart Run Watch and merges with Fitbit Surge: GPS, Bluetooth, On-board MP3 Player, Heart Rate Monitor, and Daily Step/Mile/Stair Count. That would be ideal so that I could leave my phone at home.

Available to buy, Fitbit are building on the success of their Flex wearable with fresh products boasting new technologies. First up the Charge HR which is marketed towards “Active Fitness” users who already do a fair bit of exercise. For those who are competitive about their sport, the Fitbit Surge aims to cater for “Performance …

I'm with you, it's all about the GPS. It's good to see activity trackers from Fitbit and Sony/Samsung smartwatches, have started to cater for runners who want this data on a run; anything less is just a glorified pedometer!

If you're like me, you might use a watch to track your mileage. I wrote a review which compares the differences between the new Apple Watch and the Garmin Vivosmart. Even though Apple Watch gets a lot of hype, did you know you can't use GPS unless you connect it to an iPhone!  Check it out...
Looking only at the features relevant for fitness and exercise, how does the Vivoactive stack up against the Apple Watch Sport? Let's Go!

If you track your healthy living with a Fitbit, there's currently no diet database for UK users. If we vote for the idea we can make it happen! Let's just make sure #JaffaCakes  are included...

If you want something different to your usual supermarket, check out Vanessa. Based opposite the Market Cross, the Delicatessen has a great range of products sourced locally. From bread to cheeses to cured meats the shop has plenty of choice at a reasonable price. There's also a few oddities in there, I quite like the chilli jam they range. Upstairs there's a cafe, where I had a tasty carrot cake and a cup of tea. The staff were polite and punctual. Overall a really nice place that fits in well with Beverley's traditional character.
