Great article from +Texas Tribune about the treasures held by Texas university libraries in their Special Collections. Our own P.I. Nixon Medical Historical Library ( http://bit.ly/Nc7vvj ) features important materials dating back to the 15th century, including great works by Vesalius, Albinus, Celsus, Avicenna, Burton, Hooke, and more.
