Really good food. We weren't rushed by the staff. Lots of choice and great service. Only downside was the length of the queue. Or seemed like we should have moved quicker as there were 3 staff behind the counter. It took them about 30 minutes to get through the queue and there was about 20 people ahead of us in the queue!

I drive an hour and a half just to come here and enjoy a pastry and some coffee. No joke. It's also located in the cutest town near Napa. Everything about this place is perfect. Don't let the line outside the door scare you away, it moves quickly and the space inside is only big enough to order and move out. Everything's delicious, but the bacon cheddar biscuit topped with brown sugar is a favorite!!!

Everything in the front display is a 2. Everything on the right is a 4. The bread is a 5. I've tried the eclairs, macarons, cakes, and about half the pastries in the display and was disappointed 100% of the time. But the bread is delicious and the cookies, croissants, etc. are good. Go for the bread.

I ordered their eclairs and they came shaped with an almost star pointed pattern to the chocolate. There was even gold leaf applied as a label on the pastry. It looked too good to eat. Then I ate it. It was perfect. The cream had a flavor I can only describe as subtlety but powerful. It transformed and lingered on my tongue, I have never tasted another pastry that good since. Also, the place is absolutely beautiful with a nice simple architecture and rich highlights. A must visit in this smallish town.

Really delightful menu. The line as previously mentioned can get a little nutty and forget about finding a place to sit. However its the perfect start to a day in the valley. If your in a relaxed state of mind and you give yourself the opportunity to note the subtlety of the flavors your going to love this place. The service is top notch. Perfect..... but there is the line...

This is the only bakery on earth that I will wait 20+ minutes under the hot sun because it's worth it. It's funny to think all these people are waiting, like sheep, to be able to go through Bouchon's door to buy a macaroon, chocolate croissant or to overhear strategic phone conversations about what kind of bread to buy for dinner and to listen what is Plan B if the bread they really want is not there.Yes, these are all 1st World problems. There is so much "eye candy" here that you can easily get overwhelmed when it comes to making buying decisions. My favorites are Bouchon Bakery's versions of the Hostess Cupcake and Ho Ho, any macaroon, any flaky, buttery pastry or croissant. Nothing is bad here! We can easily spend between $40 - $50 for two people's self-indulgent, decadent pastry whims. NOTE: We have not made it over to the bread area yet.

Coffee needs to be improved! How can you have a bakery with poor coffee. It's like having a nice meal with a corked wine. Bakery is great! And so are the macaroons. I would invest in a good coffee machine! Especially when it's a high end bakery brand like Bouchon Bakery. #dissatisfied #bakery #bouchon

- Chocolate croissant - not crispy, but good airyness and flaky (did get this at 6pm though) - Ice coffee - pretty good
