The staff was really friendly, if anyone is buying a tv please ask for Fatima. She is very helpful and friendly answering any questions I had. She was cool and not like a pushy sales person. I recommend speaking to her about any big purchase made in store. I had a great experience.

Called to find out about the Sony Z3. Carlos answered all my questions and explained my options. He even offered to put the phone on the side for me. Great experience!

my 8 year old son has yet to see his psvita which was taken to this store in Feb 2014 with the intentions of getting it fixed. ive been getting the run around for months, and still no answers besides "you will recieve an email in 3-5 days. sony says they are not responsible yet, they recieved my sons psvita and sent it out for repair.

My advice JUST TO AVOID this store..!! really ! I bought Sony xperia Z1 (unlocked priced for $800) for Xmas in 2013, the salesperson described as unlocked, fast, and WILL WORK TO ANY CARRIER. The moment I pay I realized I make a big mistake (no sign of 15% restocking fee, only stated only after I submitted payment/ on the invoice). So what happen if the device was not as good as they said or mislead customer to make a sale?. Before I came to the store I read about specs but somehow only limited info mentioned so I rely mostly on the info from salesperson, and works with any carrier is MISLEADING(GSM only without CDMA capability). Bestbuy website are much better on informing customer about compatibility. The device so slow and won't work on 4G LTE network. Out of curiosity, I call several times to different salesperson asking about technical specs and all I had the same answer YES IT WILL WORK TO ANY CARRIER, the last person corrected his info after I insist to double check it. My conclusion they are UNRELIABLE (shallow depths on technical specs), and not guiding customer correctly, just TO CLOSE THE SALE quickly. So I returned my purchase(sure enough the manager charge me 15% restocking fee), but better off than keeping half baked gadget that using the outdated technologies (lack 4G LTE). I went to the Apple Store on 59th St Manhattan, got iphone 5s unlocked (capable of GSM and CDMA) paid $800 with even NO 15% RESTOCKING FEE (stated on the invoice), knowledgeable staff, excellent service. WHAT A DIFFERENCE..! SONY and APPLE like between SPACE AGE vs STONE AGE era. After that I bought another unlocked iphone 5s. I'm happy, satisfied and from now on I will never ever buy anything from Sony not TV, sound system even DSLR's. This is latest attempt to buy Sony products after I bought a Sony handycam that last only for less than 2 year on little usage.

I bought a phone in here. When I try to exchange it with a different sony model within a month, they asked for a restocking fee and I did not exchange it. If I bought it through the internet over Sony store, they just exchange it without any queations. Why bother to buy here, if you need anything purchase through Sony's web page. They are much more helpful.

I called to ask about Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. The first person to answer didn't know so I was transferred to a rude person who told me he doesn't know and to wait for the end of the month. He then hanged on me....

5 years ago we bought a 60 GB Playstation 3 from Circuit City. Great console, had really good games and you could watch Netflix on it. But our Playstation 3 got some stupid blu- ray failure and then got the YLOD crap months later. I took it to this Sony Store in NY to see what was the problem and they tried to charge us $100 to "fix" it. (They replace it with a refurbished one that dies months later). I figured it be a good deal so I bought it and got it a few days later. We got a 90 day warranty on the thing and it failed 2 months later. Luckily Sony replaced it with a Slim Model which has less features then the fat. Sony is obviously scamming people out of their money with these constant failing PlayStation 3's. There goes all of my game data! All lost Good thing I took the Hard Drive out I shouldn't have to back up my data myself if it's Sony's fault for not doing a good job with their Playstation 3 consoles Step it up Sony, you're just going to lose more customers and lose a lot of money. Stop scamming people and start tweaking the PS3s and fixing them to prevent hard ware failures.

I wanted to thank Omar and Tim for the incredible service I received on Jan. 13, 2014. I walked into the store to figure out how to get my apps to work on my Sony Tablet, not only did they fix it, they made me feel comfortable while doing it. It feels good to know that there are people out there who are not just doing their job, they are providing an awesome service by helping people in a humane and highly efficient way. Thanks Omar and Tim!!!!!!
