Hispanics face a higher likelihood of developing conditions like macular degeneration, cataracts, and glaucoma, as well as other health conditions that could affect their eyesight, like hypertension or diabetes. More than half of Hispanics with vision problem have admitted that their eyesight has affected their productivity at work or their ability to enjoy hobbies. Research has also revealed that many Hispanics are not even aware that their ethnicity increases their risk.
