love Chinatown, weaving in and out of the stores, and finding little kitschy items for cheap prices. Imagine my surprise when someone mentioned I try this instead of the regular Chinatown shops. I was in heaven! It is everything you could ever want - from Asian textiles and foods, to art, to silly little tchotchkes from Asia. I could have easily spent three times the money I spent, and I left some things behind that I really, really wanted. Its a great place to pick up some NYC souvenirs for people and some great little things I haven't seen before. My friend found a great big pair of shears that she has been looking for since forever. The chopsticks, tea cups, tea pots, tea sets, tea, and pottery selection is amazing, and don't even get me started on the textiles. A great place, you should go!

OMG I love this store. It so many great products from Asian there. Lots of gadgets, swords, clothing, Chinese bowls, Zodiac, and so much more... There is even a tea lounge within the store. The staff is super friendly. I actually walked in and took pictures of all the items I wanted. I am a big fan of Japanese and Chinese culture, so this store is probably the best place in New York City for such items and products. I super recommend it to anyone. If you know a friend who loves ninjas, art and more, this place is a go to spot for unique gifts items and ideas. I will definitely be back to grab more things. Very clean, organized, so many options. I am in love. You have to go in. Live Life Unscripted...

It was a cute store. I expected it to have more, but they didn't have anything I was looking for. It's in a nice area, but thats about it.

This place had everything Asian-related possible. The selection of gifts as well as everyday household items was great. I bought all my items for reasonable prices, even cheaper than the prices I saw at the more local Chinatown stores. There are 3 floors of items to choose from and range from food, clothing, books, kitchenware, toys, and everything random. I only wish they had a wider range of framed wall art.

Great place to find some last minute gifts, some home decor and if you want to decorate your place with some asian influence. Prices are so affordable and quality is pretty good, even though most of the stuff is made in china. Good spot to just walk around with a date or kill some time if you're in the area. Staff is wonderfully helpful. Public bathroom in the basement for a neighborhood with almost no public bathrooms is a great plus for the tourist who visit often to Soho.

Very rude service on the first floor. The middle-aged ladies working the cash registers and the floor were dismissive and one of them was quite nasty when I asked for a jacket in a size that was not displayed on the floor. They have my size in the glass case high up near by. They just have to get a ladder which was right there. The lady who fetched the jacket complained and would not let me touch or look at the jacket. But she got me the wrong jacket and the cashier had to call her back to get the right one. I could have told her it was the wrong jacket if she had let me look at it. So I got another round of complaining and rude behavior from her. I remember coming here 10 years ago and these ladies were horrible if you asked for any help. I am surprised that nothing has changed. The sales clerks were nice downstair in the cellar where kitchen and house ware are sold and upstair where furnitures are sold. It's just these ladies on the ground floor are horrible. They openly comment on the customers in Chinese and they don't care if you know Chinese. Most things here are overpriced compared to Chinatown a few blocks away. But things are well-organized and easy to find and they have a big selection. You will probably have an ok shopping experience if you don't need help or deal with anybody on the first floor.

Affordable Knick Knacks with a wide choice of items. Amazing store where you can purchase a wedding gown, a very odd shaped bench to window blinds, parasols or food. It's like a one shop stop for an Asian wedding. Prices are reasonable and as a teacher this is a great place to buy items for the class. My students adore the Paper Balloon Animal shapes and I am so happy with my blinds. If you don't live close by, they have order on line available. Another great recommendation is the Tiger Balm rub for muscle aches. If you are into Fengshui need a present for that special person that has everything-- here you can find something that they are missing.
