Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a difficult-to-treat cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Scientists at Weill Cornell Medicine found that by reducing levels of an enzyme in patients, tumor cells began to behave more like normal cells, providing potential for new treatment strategies.
