I dunno if or when Naomi will be back so elistar and his winged legion will be npced for the moment until I can think of something for them

Elistar and his men relieved them selves from Karen's service and rode to the coast of Seravis before settling down and building a small township for them selves, they sent it word to anyone in the kingdom and near by to join then and help their township grow

Nalthroah'n social hierarchy

All Nalthroah'ns are considered equal how ever some classes are more respect as others

The "lowest" ranking class are the simple farmers and house wives who look after the sick and young ones

Raiders and warriors are held in quite a High regard how ever not as much as the berserkers, they are held in the highest regard when it comes to the warrior rankings

The shamans are a difficult bunch, as they are both respected but not very trusted as magic isn't very common within the Nalthroah'ns society, newer discovered shamans or any type of traveling mage are heavily distrusted and most often driven out of the city. The only really heavily trusted magic user is the seer and that's because he is almost 150 years old, he's also heavily blind yet still seems to be able to see his way around as he wanders the city, many people often visits him for advice or to receive a rune if they are eligible

The two most respect members of the Nalthroah'ns culture are king Bjorn and his adviser rangnar the bold, they are the eldest males next to the seer and are the two strongest men in the city, both surviving great and dangerous tasks, many didn't expect them to gain such fame or power as both used to be major trouble makers as young children

THE GRAND FEAST

location : City of Northïlmjon
Time : 7 pm

the large feasting hall was filled with two hundred and one people, the smaller villages and townships all flocking to the city after hearing word that king Bjorn had made a decision of what will happen to them all, whether they would stay or leave.
A mighty grand feast had been prepared to go along with the news, many large fire pits were burning bright and high as many pigs, goats and other good types were being prepared, and twice as many large mead barrels were rolled in to accompany the food, very soon the hall was filled with both the aroma of food and the noise of music and laughter, as the night grew on many of the younger and more drunk people started to break upon themselves to prove their strength. Most of them just brawled them selves or challenged their older berserker brethren. One youngster how ever approached bjorn and challenged him.
Bjorn sat at the head of the table, shirtless his muscular and scared body for all to see, he looked at his blood brother rangnar before raising an eye brow at him and laughing, to his left sat his esteemed guest , a beautiful water nymph who had agreed to accompany them

bjorn sat on the cliff over looking his city, the freezing winds battering his body, the years winter was looking to be a long and relentless one. He looked up and sighed, it looked like another blizzard was on its way, this was a problem as their food stores were becoming low, he needed to organize either a hunt or just take some water lands and move the city and towns there

Religion and social views: the Nalthroahn worship three old ones. A god known as ulfenfather, he is the God of wisdom, creation and justice. He is depicted as a one eyed man with a long white beard and hair.
A Goddess known as fraelor. A beautiful goddess who is said to have long flowing golden hair, she is depicted as the goddess of fertility, often prayed to too help with the growth of crops or Conception of children.
The last God, is the god Thrundor, a large red haired and bearded man who wields a short handler war hammer and has the power to control lighting. He is often called the thunder God, he is the Lord of war and thunder storms, often prayed to when one needs strength in battle or protection when traveling

The Nalthroahn believe that if one dies an honourable death their souls will ascend to vallhalor to feast with the gods and serve by their side in battle in the end days of the world. Men and women who die or live their lives as cowards will be condemned to helfaim, where their souls will be forever in agony and torment

The Nalthroahn people also follow a strict set of social doctrines, basic rules of how they should act to gain favor of the gods. Honour, respect, truthfulness , kindness and strength are to be showed to everyone, the elders are to be highly regarded.
Crimes such as stealing, assaulting someone and making unwanted sexual advances can and most likely will be punishable by death

Magic within Nalthroahn culture
The art of Magic isn't studied much and only a very few people are born with the natural ability to use it. All of them becoming shamans that help heal the sick or wounded, with a select few that can control fire. There is one individual how ever who has a very large knowledge of the arcane, he is only known as the seer, and man who is completely blind, he is the strongest healer in the society and is often sought out so he can read people's futures. He practices an art of magic known as rune magic.
Each rune has a different ability and a certain amount of strength too them, depending how much will power and mana the caster put into it
The most common runes used are

1: the Alfhamingr: this circular rune is often placed upon buildings, tools or objects and protects the object from magical harm. It's most often placed on boats, food wagons and store houses to protect them from enemy spell casters

2: the yuljmonjer: this long rune is often either carved or tattooed into the skin of a well respected warrior, it protects them from position by spirits and wards away negative energy and evil spirits, only four people so far have this rune, king Bjorn, the seer and Bjorn two personal body guards

3: the vulkankuter: this rune is an odd and special rune, it doesn't do much other then help it's wearer display honour, honesty and strength, each of the three interlocking triangles represent one of the well respected traits

funerals and burials
Most people that die in battle or of old age are just buried with a small amount of gold, a shield, axe and spear. How ever people of importance or high fame with often be burnt so their souls will ascend to valhallor quicker. Depending on who they are will depend on how they will be burnt. Famous warriors and people will have large funeral pyres built and have their body along with their possessions placed into and then set alight, how ever Jarls, earls and kings will be placed within boats with a large amount of wealth, food, their weapons and armour and a servant sacrifice before being set out onto the river then set alight with flaming arrows

Location: (the city of Northïlmjorn)

After the many months of scouting the lands known as kreven Bjorn sat on his wooden throne carved from a single mighty log of an elm tree, the fires struggling to warm the long house, the frozen winds battering the doors and windows filling the rooms, chilling Bjorn and his guards to the bone. Bjorn was sick of this. The freezing winds, the crops barely able to survive. He had made his mind up. He was going to lead his people into warmer lands. Lands that could be farmed properly. Lands where his kind could live and survive. He was going to invade darkhearth. Bjorn was also a bit worried that word of his movements within Kreven might not have gone unnoticed and was unsure if to take his whole force or to split them into two, suddenly the doors of the long house burst open as a mysterious hooded figure waltzed in
