We spent a week in Montreal and went twice to Laloux. We were drawn back after the first experience which exceeded our high expectation. We have been to many French Style restaurants over the years and we consider that Laloux is in our top five. The service was excellent. The soup was beautifully balanced and the Salad leaves were fresh and not bruised with a fine vinaigrette. The main courses were beautifully cooked and presented. The desserts were charming and innovative (would have preferred that caramel sauce was not poured over the profiteroles). The wine menu was also extensive and we had no trouble selecting suitable wines from their by the glass menu. Overall our experience was memorable.

Nice place, we took the halibut (special of the day), Taste was good, food presentation can be a little bit better. Serving: rather small (and I am not a big eater).
