Hologram USA Inc. filed a last minute lawsuit to stop the scheduled performance by the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards (“Billboard”) claiming that their patents were being infringed by Billboard, who was not given permission to use their Musion Eyeliner technology that would make the pop star appear as though he is currently on stage.

Shareholder C. Frederick Koenig III recently presented a $20,000 check to one of the firm’s 2013 IPromise Charitable Giving Fund (IPromise) winners, Doylestown, Pa.-based organization Twilight Wish Foundation (TWF). The grant will allow TWF to acknowledge the service of several elderly veterans by fulfilling their wish requests.

Established in 2007, IPromise helps two qualifying non-profit organizations continue their good work by awarding them each a $20,000 grant.
