Southern California Edison, I stood behind you when Temple City and neighboring communities were affected by the windstorm of 2011. I was without power for at least 4 days and I did not complain once. That was an unanticipated outage due to the elements. I'm sure that you had inventory to make repairs but not in the amount necessary to repair 10 city blocks of downed power poles and blown transformers. However, your service today with regards to the "planned" outage is frustrating. The original estimate for reestablishing service was 7 pm, but as that time came and went, the time was updated to 11 pm. Why the delay? As if it wasn't enough that your crews had all day to pull wire, I drive by the job site at 5:30 pm and they're still pulling wire. That is the time they should've been sweeping and picking up cones.

I only hope that this "planned" outage does not carry over to tomorrow.
