Om bitarna inte passar så sågar man i bitarna tills de passar.

Är det inte så man lägger pussel?

World, meet PC chassis. It's about a month in the making, pretty slim at about 14 x 29 x 40 cm, and made mainly from perforated aluminium, polyacetal and some funky fake leather stuff. The right side opens and the top snaps off. Most of the actual computer bits aren't in place yet, so right now it's a fancy box with a motherboard. I'll probably be adding more to it when I feel inspired. (Suggestions welcome!)

"[T]he Silicon Valley seed investment firm Y Combinator has announced it wants to fund a basic income experiment in the US. [...]

[YC's president Sam] Altman writes that he wants to know, 'Do people sit around and play video games, or do they create new things? Are people happy and fulfilled? Do people, without the fear of not being able to eat, accomplish far more and benefit society far more? And do recipients, on the whole, create more economic value than they receive?'"

Eh. What the actual fuck? What world do they live in? First, it's ridiculous to even consider setting a salary threshold below which your bad luck will get you bloody deported, and more importantly, £35k isn't exactly a low number - I don't clear it, at most one person in my family clears it, most people I know in Europe, including highly-educated professionals who work full-time or more, don't clear it, and how naïve is May to assume that a non-EU citizen in the UK would never face discrimination in either getting a job, keeping a job, or getting a salary comparable to that of an equally qualified British colleague? And I haven't even started talking about students yet. Bloody hell. I'm embarrassed that these people are considered qualified to run a country, and I don't even live there.

Argh, Instagram, love. Why do you make a good API and then invent a permissions review process that make end customers hate developers and developers hate you? I wouldn't have minded just submitting a URL for you to look at, but what's with this multiple-field free text explain-your-app-in-detail-and-have-it-rejected-because-you-misread-the-instructions stuff? :(
