Hacketts Cove, Nova Scotia north of Peggy's Cove and Indian Harbour on St. Margarets Bay. Trees were just starting to turn. Unfortunately, a week to 10 days late for our trip. But I never tire of these picturesque villages with fishing boats, sail boats and other water craft. Enjoy

Drifting: Here is another take on the old dory as it drifts back and forth in the harbor at Peggy's Cove. I thought a vertical shot with the wonderful sky and calm water would make for a nice image. Hope you agree. Cheers.

Peggy's Cove Dories: You see many of these boats around this area, some even out of water and look discarded. I noticed these two tied together with seaweed around them and a nice reflection in the clear water. Hope everyone enjoys and has a wonderful weekend.

Indian Harbour: Passed through here on our way from Peggy's Cove to Lunenburg. Buildings appeared old and weathered with moss growing on the roofs but quiet and quaint.

Night Sky Over St. Margarets Bay: This location is just a short distance from Peggy's Cove at a promontory called Whalesback. This is where one of two memorials were built by The Government of Nova Scotia as a memorial to the passengers and crew of Swissair Flight 111. The other memorial is near Bayswater Beach Provincial Park. This particular flight between New York and Geneva was known as the "UN Shuttle" due to the number of UN Officials and others working with the UN that routinely flew on this flight route. This is the first night sky photo I have posted on G+ and only the third one I have attempted.

Peggy's Cove Dock-The light was starting to soften and along with the flat water this reflection of an old building with its rough siding and uneven supporting timbers and the red of the boat contrasted nicely with the blue picked up by the water from the sky. Enjoy.
