So do you want to find out what this D4 hoopla is all about finally?

Well here's your chance to download our new quick start rules for free!

Start your adventure as a knight of Lord Castings, help recover a staff of wondrous power from a nasty little brigg and save the lands from the flooding powers of the non-stop storms

Thank you to all of you that have shown us support this early on. I want too share with you the work-in-progress intro to the dungeon gauntlet we're putting together (Details at the bottom). Comments and suggestions very welcomed.

"You find yourself looking through the twisted dead trees of the Wintergreen Forest. The once vibrant sea of green that made up the forest is now only death and decay. After heading in the opposite direction of the earth killing blight that has been consuming the Barony of Brastol, you've come across a grouping of stone ruins deep in the forest.

Lord Cuthbol, after giving you supplies for your journey, had warned you that he suspects that his very own now-missing lord vizier, Bannen, might have a hand in the cursed land. He mentioned that the gentle Bannen had been quick to anger as of late and had been seen mumbling over a silver ring that, until recently, had not before been seen by the baron. He also warned that he himself does not quite know the extent of the vizier’s magical ability and Bannen should not be taken lightly.

The scene before you is very still and the sun shines brightly through the dead canopy of trees. Various pieces of grey stone litter the forest floor -- leftovers of once-standing buildings and statues. Among the stone, dead trees and other once living plants hopelessly try and conceal the ancient ruins but can only do so much in their current state. Only Four main structures sitting among the stone are discernible enough to catch your eye. A well, a split statue of a warrior, a stone building which is missing one wall and large slab of grey resting on the forest floor. Stone columns can be seen protruding from each corner of the grey slab. A black crow lands on the head of the fallen statue and caws directly at you as though to try and scare you away."

Dungeon Gauntlet idea:
We're thinking of trying to set up a D4 Basic dungeon gauntlet at a local comic shop here.

I don't want to divulge too many details yet but the hopes are to give folks a chance to see how far they can get through a very difficult dungeon. You'd pay like a buck per hero and the first group to make it through will get a prize bought with the money.

This would be a great way to test out our new hero generator and have some fun in the process.
