Kai, I would be careful with this claim that M4/3 is limited to 16MP you have stated this before on the PEN review. It would imply that APSC and FF are also limited to some absolute number. And the 20MP Sony 1” sensor in the RX100 at half the surface area of M4/3 is imposable. But as the RX100 does exist it demonstrates that M4/3 could reach 40MP, patent limitations notwithstanding.
This is most likely the best stills M4/3 camera around, but with that said the price ($1,099 USD) is way too high. If you consider that you can get a full frame Canon EOS-6D for $1,399.00 USD that becomes a pretty bitter pill to swallow, albeit at much bigger size. And a Panasonic GH4 is $1,497.99 and actually offers 4k. Don’t get me wrong I am honestly considering this camera but I may hold off given the price. I know Olympus is losing money right now just not sure this is the right strategy. One of the claims of M4/3 was that because the sensor is smaller you could get more sensors from one wafer of silicon, and there by a much lower cost for the camera.
