Assays, I love the specificity of the reasons Matt Lake gives for finding Google Glass unsatisfactory. That and lines like "Glass's voice recognition can be about as responsive as your average 6-year-old after soda and cupcakes."
A fun (and actually very informative) article from Matt Lake on his experiences trying out Google Glass. Some of these (such as the reaction of folks you're talking to) I had sort of surmised, but it's good to have some direct (very direct) feedback from somebody who actually tried a pair out.
+Barbara Krasnoff -- I think Glass has a bit of a hearing problem, or at least, a filtering problem. I tried to get it to work in the open air, in empty auditoriums, and in rooms with background noise--not so much for a torture test, but because that's where I work.
