Fremont Diner is my newest love. Don’t be fooled pulling into the parking lot, it doesn’t look like much, but you’d be surprised. There is so much character and charm, complete with turquoise picnic tables, mason jar cups, and a chicken walking around like it owned the place. It made me feel a little bad that half our party ordered the chicken and waffles. Good thing, I had the oyster po’boy, which was so, so good. Not until we were heading out did I notice their indoor dining area, just as quirky and wonderful as it is outside.

Casual comfort food good for breakfast and lunch! Usually a wait for a table, but worth it.

We went to Fremont Diner for brunch and tried a bunch of different dishes. Everything was great except the Potlicker Beans which were just ok. The biscuits and sausage gravy we great. So was the cheesy grits with bacon pieces and green onions. Sadly they didn't have the fried pie ready.

Love everything about this place, from the rustic country location, respect for the ingredients and the friendly staff! Chicken and waffles were on point! Can't wait to visit again!

Excellent spin on classic diner food. Mini fried chicken sandwich, whole hog, grilled cheese w spicy tomato soup, and milk shake were all great. Only issue were all the flies surrounding outdoor dining, but given the taste, can't blame them for showing up!
