Last weekend Michael and I went on a little jaunt. For me, a jaunt is a really short trip, usually just about a day and a half. It gives you time enough to stay in a nice boutique hotel or Bed and Breakfast (it's only for one night, so let's go nice) and a ...

I kept putting this photo shoot off because it is so hot and humid here in Missouri. These are truly the "dog days of summer". It's so bad that my dogs and my rabbit, Mr. BB, my old Angora bunny, spend their afternoons sleeping not far from one another on m...

Hello again and I hope everyone's week went smoothly. I know it went quickly because they all seem to. At least we start a three-day weekend (if you are in the states). Will that slow things down? I doubt it. But it does give us some extra time to spend wit...

Two For The Record
I wore these two this week. I put them in a combo pic on my Fashion Blog but will have them here as singles.  Art Nouveau Nectarine by Finger Paints This is as it says, a nectarine or a pink leaning orange. I would put it at a crelly texture.  Primrose by N...

Julep and Love, Lace and Lilacs
Today is a stash catch up. As usual, I need some pictures for my Pinterest boards and it has been a long time since my last post. So here we go. First up, is Julep's Cassidy. This is a bright turquoise creme that only needs two coats. On top of that, I even...

Story
Introduction
I am a retired visual art instructor with many interests. These interests have turned into blogs. I also have five dogs and six cats, two of which are Poodles. My dog-centric bog is Time For Poodles And Friends. Occasionally, a cat joins in the fun. Our blog has creative ideas, art photos, and health and wellness ideas for pets. Every Tuesday we participate in the "Tuesday's Tails" blog hop which tries to find homes for dogs and cats.

Fiber and design are the focus of The MeadowTree Journal (my other and first blog). I have spent many years knitting, spinning yarn and designing garments. I also teach fiber related classes.

Living on a small farm, we have a few more animals than dogs and cats. Included in the mix are sheep, one Llama, five Alpacas, cows, chickens and one Angora bunny. It's a zoo!
