ONC has awarded $2 million in funding over two years to two research organizations as part of the Leading Edge Acceleration Projects (LEAP) in Health Information Technology program. Boston Children’s Hospital and MedStar Health Research Institute will use the LEAP in Health IT funding to develop new interoperability applications for clinical workflow and population health. Nearly two out of three U.S. kids spend more than two hours a day looking at screens, a new analysis of activity levels finds.
