Thanksgiving is just 5 short weeks away, and Chef Chip has put together a spectacular offering for this year.

You can order the "whole shebang" - a complete Thanksgiving dinner that feeds 10-15 people, or you can cherry-pick selected items and sides.

Tony Rabello also has free-range fresh turkeys, spiral hams, whole USDA Prime tenderloins and much more.

We're well over the half-way mark to being sold-out for our next Side Porch Oyster Roast over Labor Day Weekend. If you've never experienced one of our side porch events, you're in for a real treat!

This casual island tradition takes place on Sunday, September 6, and includes steamed oysters, Old Bay-steamed peel & eat shrimp, smoked pulled pork barbecue, Chip's famous beans, summer-fresh corn on the cob, herb & butter potatoes, house-made cole slaw, freshly made House Autry hush puppies w/Chip's honey butter, and finishes with Chip's famous banana pudding.

The evening begins around 5pm with a social. We'll have a cash bar featuring $3 beer & $5 wine, or purchase your own bottle or six-pack from the Market and bring it outside to your table.

We'll serve the bounty from about 5:30 - 7:30, but stay as long as you like. Seating is limited, and this event always sells out, so register early!

For lunch today, Chip is featuring a classic "Philly"cheese steak hoagie prepared with sautéed onions, mushrooms, and melted white American cheese along with a side of our house made chips for only $9.95. Order on-line at http://www.maritimetogo.com for dine-in or take-out orders.

Our local gardeners are hosting an Open House at the BHI Community Garden this morning from 10am - Noon at the garden - located behind the fences and the Dog Park at 230 North Bald Head Wynd. Light refreshments will be served. Please drop by and meet the locals, and see see the newly renovated garden.
