It's true. Study is not exactly a verb that means much. "Study" for math wouldn't be the same for "study" for history. Interesting!

You wouldn't buy a shoe made to fit the "average 35 year old female". Yet, a mistake people make in design is to create for the "average" person.

This TED talk busts the myth of average and explains the simple step of "designing to the edges". Especially crucial message for those of us in education.

I helped create this talk with L. Todd Rose of the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Eric is outstanding, and here is the story of me finding Eric and making changes in my life. I was recommended by a Stanford physician to read a book called "The Cure" by Jo Marchant. In it, it describes which non-medical therapies are most effective. Hypnotherapy appealed to me because I am a very visual person. I chose Eric because he had good reviews and offered to talk for 15 minutes by phone before setting up the appointment. During that call, we talked about my goals, and I became both comfortable with Eric and curious about what the outcomes could be. I decided it was worth a try, and I am really glad that I did. During the first session, I was pleased to find that there was no "voodoo" hypnosis like you would imagine from watching TV. Instead, it was a carefully guided path of clarifying my goals, visualization, thinking through key events, and "re-learning" the lessons I needed to draw from these events. It was both simple and profound. Eric was a wise and patient guide - but there wasn't that much patience needed on my part! After just the first appointment, I had made a huge change in my outlook. When I got home, my husband literally said that I seemed different - in a good way - and that he was happy for me. I told my close friends about the amazing insights Eric guided me to realize during my session. It was really incredible. After the second session, I become much more confident about my career goals. Just two days after that, I had a scheduled meeting with my manager, during which I (uncharacteristically!) very confidently said that I thought it was the right time to craft a new role for me. Just 3 weeks later, I was in the new role and just delighted! Moving at this speed and confidence was a direct result of working with Eric. During my third session, Eric guided me to identify and shift a core belief about myself which was terribly limiting. Though I am a successful person, this odd belief was definitely holding me back from having a maximum amount of impact (and happiness). Since that session, I find myself having conversations with senior leaders with simple confidence and assurance - and it's making a difference. I've recommended Eric to close friends. I really recommend him to you. He is sincere, explains things well, is highly skilled, and will take you through exercises that literally help you imagine and develop the future you want. If you have been hesitating, ask yourself, "Why am I not able to make the changes I need to? Is there anything logically holding me back?" You'll probably tell yourself, "There's no logical reason I can't make that change, but I'm still not making it. Why? Why?" Eric Rosen will help you find that "why" and change it into "done" - which is what's happened for me. Eric - I wish you a long and significant career helping many people become their true and fulfilled selves - with lots of great outcomes for them personally, and the world.

This massage was a 10 out of 10. Nikolas F gave a really deep, restorative massage. I felt amazing afterwards, and the feeling lasted for days (not just a few hours as with some massages you get). What was really great is that Nick focused on my total health. He knew so much about massage and what can be going on not just physically but also the emotions on the inside. He's a true expert. I've had massages in NYC, Hong Kong, SF, and Napa, and Nick is among the very best. Thanks, Nick!

(Los Altos Main St. location) I felt so well taken care of here. My mother, daughter, and I loved it. The pace of the tea service is relaxed so you can have a long chat while enjoying really delicious, piping hot tea served on adorable china, with tea sandwiches, a great scone, and all the fixings. It even included dessert (which I hardly needed by then!). It was filling and really as much as a lunch - though you can order fewer items if you prefer. We got the Afternoon High Tea.
