Learn more about the three signers of the Decaration of Independence whose lives were perhaps saved when FX Sanchez provided food and clothing for the prisoners in Saint Augustine's fort, Castillo de San Marcos. More about this in fxsanchez.blogspot.com

COME, CONSIDER, CONNECT:

The Rev. Dee Graham will speak this Sunday at the regular Sunday service of the Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. She asks us to consider:

"The Atom Bomb and All Souls"
As a faith community with a legacy of pacifism and as a faith community that recognizes its military chaplains and active service members, how do we reconcile our beliefs with our actions? We’ll learn about the Rev. A Powell Davies and how his response to Hiroshima’s children impacted the Post WWII world. How do we continue to live with our philosophical diversity in this time of ongoing warfare and the challenge of violence at home?

WHEN: 10:30 am Sunday (Aug. 17)
WHERE: Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
                 223 15th Street West
                 Bradenton, FL 34205

COME AS YOU ARE!

SPIRITUAL BUT NOT RELIGIOUS?

SUNDAY, JUNE 15, 10:30 am
@ MANATEE UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST FELLOWSHIP
REV. DEE GRAHAM

Let's explore what "religious" means, historically and in real life. Are Unitarian Universalist faith communities the perfect home for the increasing number of folks who see themselves as "spiritual" yet not interested in dogma? What's behind our "deeds, not creeds"?
Plus we'll have a tip of the hat to our tradition's founding fathers for Father's Day!

Hi, Sara!  How do you like the new digs? Since I'm not able to work full time any more, I'm doing ministry for the Manatee Unitarian Universalist Church right down the street in Bradenton. Wednesdays I have office hours if you want to catch lunch one day. (322 15th Street West). My mobile is still 941-465-1800. Hope all's well. Dee
