Google+ Suggestions is an utter failure.

I'm surprised that the Suggestions tab on the front page of Google+ is such an utter failure, as well as the whole Suggestions functionality. So, I see some name of a person whom I supposedly know, probably due to my Google Talk or Google Mail activity. However, they don't have a big profile, and are not very active. So, I have no way to verify even indirectly that they are indeed the person that they pretend they are. There is no way to see their email, such that I can compare it to their GTalk/GMail handle, to verify that it's indeed who I think it is, and the reason for the suggestion is not mentioned anywhere, either.

Google, if you suggest I add someone from my GTalk/GMail account to my Google+, how come it's so difficult for you to be explicit about it? Why not tell me that I've emailed them xx times, or exchanged xxx IMs? Because some of these Suggestions are in fact not the people I ever knew or had any contact with!

Seems like Google+ didn't learn much from the Facebook Eric Schmidt incident of 2010. Meh.
