Being a longtime repeat customer since like 07. The usual male cashier which does know me by name was not there this night. On 10-23-15 I took my family there after a high school football game. Ordered our food and it took like 30 minutes to get our food and there was maybe 5 people in there. The server brought us our food, instead of the usual call your name over the mic. The server set our food down on the edge of the table and just as he turned to walk off the food fell to the floor. My brother N law caught 2 baskets and the others hit the floor. The cashier/manager that night got a huge attitude problem and acted as if it was our fault the food fell. He was hesitant about replacing the food. I got really upset and kept my cool and waited another 20-30 minutes for my new food. This A hole brings the food out and slams it on the table, with no sorry about that or any emotion. Walks away and I stop him and say "so your not going to offer us any beans today huh?" Since this night I have never gone back into the place I loved to eat it. Terrible customer service and no blame to the new young server that wore glasses. All blame goes to the cashier/manager male he should be fired. He has no class and is ruining a great jem of a business.

Usually pretty good but not always. I placed our order and we found our seats to wait for the side salads. Time went by and we were called to pick up our order. I was disappointed that the salads were served with the entree. When I asked why the salads didn't come out first the cute little brunette fired back with something about having to specify that when ordering. Later I checked the menu and couldn't find anything about having to specify getting salads first at the time of the order so I knew of no such policy and feel the order taker should ask me if I want the salad first. Classic case of turning the blame back on the customer. Also - twice now I've ordered a chili cheese dog. They do pretty well with grilling the dog and the bun but it seems to have only 2 teaspoons of chili on it. Almost non-existent. What got me the most was the service.

Excellent service and atmosphere. As far as burgers go its just okay, a bit pricey; especially for the onion rings $3 for six small rings.

After car shopping at Jordan Ford we were looking for a place to eat. I wanted to try something other than the zillion chain restaurants San Antonio seems to have all over the place. Noticed on Google Maps that this place has a 4-star rating and a 1-$ Zagat rating. Good combination. We went here on a Saturday night around 5pm with the wife and 2 kids. The place was about half full. Daughter had the grilled cheese and commented it was good. Had a bite of my son's burger and it seemed overly cooked - perhaps medium well. Wife's burger was excellent while my Philly Cheesesteak was slightly dry but still above average for a Philly Cheesesteak. Wife commented that she liked the place more than Red Robin (which is a pretty high endorsement in my opinion). We'll definitely be back when we're next on this side of town.

Horrible customer service. We waited for over an hour for our food and it was average at best. They weren't packed and had plenty of empty tables. We will never go back and I would never recommend to anyone.
