Extremely unsafe hotel for personal belongings. Very poor integrity of the hotel staff and management. If you do not want to read a detailed review below, here is a short summary. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS UNATTENDED IN ANY PART OF THIS HOTEL, BECAUSE THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF THEFT AT THIS HOTEL BY HOUSE KEEPING/HOTEL STAFF. AS PER MY EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NOT GET PROPER RESPONSE FROM MANAGEMENT AND HOTEL WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY. Date of Incident - 5/3/14 I booked a room at this hotel for two nights. We arrived at hotel late night on first day. Next day morning we took a breakfast at hotel's breakfast area, came back to room, took a shower and left around noon to visit Grand Canyon. When we approached to the gate of grand canyon, I pulled out my wallet from my pocket to pay cash to buy annual entry pass for national parks. I noticed I have only $15 in cash, I got shocked because I checked my wallet a night before and I had $195 in cash in my wallet. I immediately confirmed with my wife if she grabbed the money out of my knowledge or not. Her response was negative. All of a sudden realized that I left my wallet unattended on the lamp table in the Hotel room while we were on breakfast that morning. I called Hotel front desk immediately and informed them about the potential incident. On duty supervisor responded that management can't start the process without my presence at the Hotel. When I asked for a manager, he responded manager can't be contacted as it was Saturday afternoon. That was the first time I was disappointed with management's response. I agreed to start the process after my return to Hotel in the evening. We reached back to Hotel about 7.30pm. Straight away I went to front desk to start the investigation process. On duty lady told me she can call the Police for me at the best, meanwhile we can go back to room and relax. Police officer arrived after 10-15 mins, he interrogated me and my wife for about half an hour. Then, he went back to front desk and asked for a Room Access Key Log for our room. He found that house keeping staff accessed the room while we were on breakfast in the morning on same day. I have a copy of this log in my possession. I would have uploaded it if I could have. Now, we remembered that no one performed the room service till we left for Grand Canyon in the morning. So, house keeping entered into the room without any intention for clean up. I filed the report with Police department and Hotel Management. I was told that general manager will contact me back with findings after internal investigation with hotel staff. I did not receive a phone call or email conversation even after 4-5 days, when I contacted hotel as a follow up, general manager informed me that they couldn't find any root causes of the incident and hotel believes that they do not have responsibility towards the theft. When I asked for hotel's written policy regarding such incidents, general manger told me that he can't provide me a policy and hotel is not responsible for security of guest belongings left in the rooms. He also told me that I should have known this policy if I am a traveler. I was really upset and disappointed with such responses from higher authority of the Hotel. Till date I have received my money back and not a single positive response from Hotel and IHG group customer care. In short guys, please do not leave your belongings unattended in any part of this Hotel. I lost $180 in cash at this Hotel.

If you are in a pickle its not a horrible place to stay, it was clean and big TV. But it isnt even close to the average Holiday Inn Express standards. Bed was rock hard, and the building is probably over 20 years old. There rates were similar or higher then the much newer Hampton and Townplace one exit down.

Checked in late. Attentive friendly staff. Will not try breakfast here - cracker barrel a few blocks away.

The rooms and breakfast were excellent, but customer service and friendliness is the most important thing to me. The Manager and staff were exemplary! A friend and I stayed there for 5 days and we were high maintenance (embarrassed to say) at times. The check-in staff ALWAYS smiled and had no trouble booking us into a Grand Canyon tour at 9 pm for early the next morning (and a wonderful tour it was!). They accommodated our every problem and were just as excited as we were hearing about the tours, helping with alternate routes to see the glories of the canyons, even lending us scissors. The Manager was so kind to us and I liked that he would talk to his staff in a respectful manner and ask after their families. I believe that is why the staff (including kitchen, housekeeping and maintenance) were so open and friendly to us. Highly recommended!

The double queen room is more expensive than the nicer hotels in Los Vegas (Aria, Cosmopolitan) they are very small. They are about 250 square feet or less. Doesn't seem right. Wish I had stayed at Williams, AZ instead.

For the money it was a great place to stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Service was super. Young man at the front desk (Matt) was wonderful and helped us make the best use of our time. Would stay again.
