David Tearle: So, this is how you see the future I predicted in around 1978-9? I've been an IT professional too long. All I can tell you is that this IS coming; nothing is going to stop it. But understand, it will be for the ultimate benefit of what consciousness there is that will transcend humanity and then reach the stars. Our frail biological forms won't do it and we've got to get there before time runs out. We either face it with fear or faith; nothing less will do: that faith has to be, oddly enough, in our frail humanity.
All in all, a bloody good film that told the story well. Can't understand the critics that panned it. Take a pat on the back (oh, and stay away from a sequel - better an open ended tale and something to set people thinking .... it's what we homo-sapiens do .... ;-) ).

Sam Park: I watched Transcendence this Tuesday (April 22). Would just like to congratulate you guys on a job well done! You were 100% accurate in portraying strong AI, nanotechnology, mind uploading and the post-singularity world (as far as it can be appreciated by our human minds). And I like your portrayal of the uploaded mind as being ultimately beneficent towards humanity - which is the same belief that I subscribe to. The world in Transcendence is well on their way to post-singularity. It remains to be seen when our world will go on the same trajectory.

It saddens me that the public in general does not seem to understand the significance of this film. But your film has certainly captured the transhumanist message much better than any of Ray Kurzweil's films and earned the altar (highest) spot of my DVD shelf. When the DVD comes out I will buy it and watch it religiously.

Jesus Hernandez: I thought the movie was great... just one question will there be a part 2. where they use the sunflower to get the world grid back online?

Sam Park: I feel that there should be a part 2.
