A lovely idea for personalising your wedding ceremony and getting everyone involved is making a finger print picture. Kids love it, but older guests enjoy getting stuck in as well. Lots of fun, just make sure you have some baby wipes handy!

Thanks to Derwent Photography for the lovely pics! http://buff.ly/1OJ72CY

Marika and James came all the way from Perth, Australia, to celebrate their wedding here in the Lakes. They said ‘We do’ in the garden of New House Farm, surrounded by the fells and in beautiful summer sunshine! Couldn’t get much better really - look at those hills!

A WEDDING WITH A DIFFERENCE

The dress code for this wedding? Yes, you've guessed it - WELLIES - and the bigger and brighter, the better!

Kath and Rob's wedding ceremony was held in the grounds of the Wild Boar Inn, near Kendal. Guests were instructed to come dressed for a 15 minute walk up to the tarn. Here is the bride, her mum and dad, and some of the guests showing off their footwear! Great fun!

Can't wait for Saturday - I am going to be conducting a Vow Renewal Ceremony at one of my favourite places, Tarn Hows. The scenery is stunning and a fantastic location to say 'We do' all over again! We will be there at teatime so we miss the crowds and I know the perfect spot just off the beaten track. I love my job!

I have always wanted to conduct a ceremony at Castlerigg Stone Circle, near Keswick. It is such a spectacular setting - with fantastic views of Lakeland fells all around you.

Next week my wish has come true and I am conducting a Wedding for the lovely, Nick and Becki. Can't wait, I have got my fingers crossed for some sunshine, but also got my wellies ready just in case!
