Just not good. Sticky floor should have been the tipoff as we walked to our table. Food tastes pre- packaged. Forgotten condiments on the sandwiches. Food cold. Never going again.

Wasn't sure what to expect here so perhaps my expectations were too high going in. Walk in, get in line and order. Proceed to a table on your own with card that tells the runners where you are for delivery. Noticed that the debit card slip had room for a tip and I didn't put one in. I tend to be a good tipper so I feel bad, but by the time I leave I realize that these are not waiters, these are runners. No one checks to see how things are. No one to ask for doggy bag - get up and find someone. Clear your own table. Nothing to tip for here. No plates. No silverware. Huge salad. The bill came to $27 with a beer and soda. I think I would go back for takeout but not for "dinner out". I will say the burger was good and I enjoyed the onion rings.

After leaving the UMass hospital we decided we needed food NOW and burgers were right on top of the list. Normally that means Five Guys, and they ROCK burgers but one of the three of us has a peanut allergy so I searched for an alternative. Willy's got our $50 for lunch which consisted of a LARGE order of french fries. The potato quality was not top notch, lots of black potato bruises which should never have made it to the fryer, but the fries were good and the portion was healthy. They are served unsalted. The three of us shared them and did not finish them, an unusual event for us. I ordered the Bison Tonaka Burger medium-well, a mistake because they are very accurate in their cooking. The burger was a flavorful 5.6 ounces. I substituted raw red onion for the sauteed onions and it was a good idea. The smoked mayonnaise is excellent. The bun seemed to have seen a better day but it was toasted to perfection and was obviously fresh. It suffered from zealous wrapping. Even if you "eat in" the burgers are wrapped "to go." The other members of my party ordered beef burgers, cooked medium and they were cooked perfectly. Both commented on the flavor. My wife ordered a gluten free bun and it was served on a separate tray. They are very gluten free aware. She liked the bun very much. One of my companions said the burger was too big to get in her mouth and the other said his was just right. He also had "The best vanilla shake I have ever tasted. Half way through the meal he went back and bought himself another ($5), something I have never seen him do before. We also shared an order of onion chips, sort of like onion rings. The breaded coating was sweet, as were the onions themselves. The honey mustard was too sweet for the fries and had a distinctly unwelcome cinnamon taste to it. One try was all I needed to toss it in the trash. The Ranch dip was bland. Fortunately the onions held their own and even did well with a little ketchup, which I RARELY use on anything but burgers and dogs. My wife and I ordered the Root Beer. Ah, the Root Beer. Now we are in my territory. This was served in a very healthy sized frosted mug. Frosted. As in the root beer foaming over the top froze to slush on the outside of the mug. THIS is a serious presentation for me. Someone is standing up and challenging me to take notice of their root beer? It had better be good. It is. In fact it is a great root beer. You can detect the Anise and Wintergreen notes directly but the ratio is a near perfect match for the molasses/caramel note. The Wild Willy's Root Beer is, bar none, the finest on tap Root Beer I have ever had in Massachusetts. Creamy, vanilla, smooth... you can NOT get enough of it, and no there are not free refills. I would actually choose this over IBC for casual drinking! So how do I rate Willy's overall? Five Guys still has the better burger but the Root Beer at Willy's trumps the whizz-bang anything you want soda machine at five guys making it a difficult choice. One which will bear a repeat visit or two to sort out. on the merits of the Root Beer and the flavor of the meat I had to rate food a three. For the record, it is midnight, I am 65 miles from Willy's and I WANT to go and get a Root Beer.
