Small businesses are key to a healthy economy, and also to to developing the clean energy technologies needed to cut carbon pollution. But small businesses often lack the resources necessary to move their ideas out of the lab and into the marketplace.

Today, the +U.S. Department of Energy announced a new public-private partnership which aims to bring next-generation clean energy technologies to the market faster than ever before.

The partnership is called the Small Business Voucher Pilot, and it will connect clean energy innovators across the country with top-notch scientists, engineers, and world-class facilities at our national laboratories (like +Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Manufacturing Demonstration Facility featured in this photo).
