I met a friend here after work... the place had a good crowd but wasn't packed. We sat upstairs and our waitress was pretty attentive. We split a few things, a bruschetta (can't remember which), the spring salad from farmer's market, and the fillmore pizza. The bruschetta was delicious, the salad as well. A bit heavily dressed on the salad, I would have ordered the dressing on the side, but it was quite tasty. The pizza was excellent, though I basically love anything with mushrooms on it. Overall, definitely more of a gourmet pizza place than a casual one, but the food is tasty and the service good. I'll definitely be back.

Needing to make a last minute birthday dinner reservation for a friend, I called Zero Zero when they opened and asked the reserve a table for 7 for the next night. The hostess on the phone was very friendly and made my reservations right away. When my party arrived on time, the table wasn't ready yet and we were told to wait for about 5 minutes. Once we were seated, our party decided to eat family-style. We ordered fried bussel sprouts, Castro Pizza, Rigatoni with slowed cooked duck, and several other items that I forgot about. Then we made the great discovery that Zero Zero offers punch bowls! I forgot the exact name of what we ordered, but I do remember choosing it because it was the fruitiest one offered. Our punch bowl came out first with little glass teacups for everyone. Just like the description of the punch bowl, the drink was fruity and delicious. Everything I ate was good, but to be honest I was already tipsy by the time the food came out. However, I do remember one standout dish. The Rigatoni with slowed cooked duck was absolutely phenomenal. The duck just melted in your mouth. The whole dish was heavenly. I secretly ordered a dessert at the beginning of the meal, since our waiter told me that they can put a candle in it. After we finished our food and drinks, the waiter returned with a brownie and ice cream with a candle in it. It was the perfect way to end the birthday dinner.

The food here was delicious. Even better we got to meet the head chef and she was amazing as well. We will definitely be coming back here for the service and great tasting food. Kudos to Chef Joyce.

Came here with my sister and brother in law. We say down to have some drinks and shared a table with another couple.Communal table. FOOD: We ordered the Fillmore Pizza, Slow Cooked Pork Belly, Roman Style Dumplings, and the Rigatoni, Slow Cooked Duck, Bacon, Roasted Chicories.. The pork belly was good. I definitely recommend that. it was very sink in your teeth flavor. The rigatoni was also good. I love rigatonu. The flavors were good and left me full. As for the pizza... it was ok. It was filling but meh... I wish I got more pork. SERVICE: SLOW. SO SO SO SLOW. Took forever even to get our order. Then took forever for our drinks. Then our food. He was nice, but everything was just SLOW. AMBIANCE: Pretty hip. Very SF.

The environment has an upscale feel about without being too snobby. However, I came for the pizza, and mainly for the thin crust Margarita pizza. This was an excellent pizza with the combination of quality ingredients in the proper proportions, simplicity doesn't get any better elevated in a traditional fashion. I enjoyed our starter which captured my curiosity and tantalized my taste buds, very good! I will be revisiting this kitchen with anticipation for increasing my familiarity with the delicious food as well as the cocktail menu.

Really good pasta!! Much easier to make a reservation otherwise wait is really long. Bar seating usually frees up pretty quickly too!

Very disappointing. Zero taste, Zero quality! ZERO ZERO! The only good thing came out from our dining experience was the service. The waitress was super friendly, so my friend still gave her a good tip. But the food, overpriced and typically fried. Nothing authentic about this place.

Waitress seemed a bit surly but her section was rather full. Pizza was good. Meatballs were so so and chicory salad somewhat bland. Drink lots of water after as my mouth was rather dry after.
