The most awful experience, they kept me waited for 30 mins and the reason was food not prepared , I never had such a blackened Indian snacks , waiter asked for what kind of dosa I want and the two people next to my table ordered masala dosa , he made us wait for another 25 mins and brought dosas without masala in it , we were only 3 customers in the restaurant , No non vegetarian appetizers on the buffet, i do not recommend at all .

Awesome South Indian Food! Best Hospitality. Delicious food! Excellent and reasonable price Buffet. I love, love, love this restaurant that has a real taste of South India.Very pleasant, clean interior with lots of natural light. The appetizers were perfect - excellent portions and flavor. Very friendly staff! Excellent service!

Oh.. I just don't have words. The food tasted like spicy liquid tomato, aka marinara sauce. The place smelled terrible and the gulab Jamun and naan was undercooked, cold, and stale and the rice was hard and old. Second, there is a severe language barrier that made communication very difficult, and I interact with their culture regularly. I just do not recommend this place.

The lunch buffet was so delicious!! I guarantee you will like it if you like indian food. Everything was hot and fresh. I was worried the food would would be cold or they would not have a good selection but I was definitely impressed. Only $9.99 for the lunch buffet too! Totally worth every penny!

What you may gather from the reviews is that Mayuri is extremely hit or miss. This is extremely true. I was an avid fan of Mayuri for a while, enjoying their Indian buffet like edible gold. They were flexible with the rules for me multiple times, allowing me to do "takeout" buffet instead of dining in. I made myself a regular until I invited my mom. And wow, did they miss the mark that day. First of all, our server spoke almost no English. I hate Donald Trump. English is something I believe should be a requirement for American life. I am extremely progressive on this issue (just ask my mom). I work with refugees and immigrants as a career, and I get that it is hard. However, we all have to agree that when you cannot communicate with someone serving you, it is extremely frustrating. When that happens, there should be an English-speaking server on site, ready to assist. The fact that the restaurant did not provide this (at all) made it almost impossible for us to order. Secondly, this poor guy, I am not trying to call him out, but he stuck his fingers into our cups and all over our plates and even the lids and containers of our food. I'm probably the opposite of a germaphobe, but that is actually really gross. Please, wear some gloves? It was basic restaurant training he didn't get. His personal phone was going off constantly. It was all pretty weird. Another "miss", for example, is that they don't have a lot of things on the menu sometimes. You want palak paneer, no palak paneer. And then chana masala? Nope (kills me). I make ammends and will go there again this evening, because Mayuri is convenient for me (down the street) and the owners have been pretty nice to me. However, there are some obvious issues that should be of a concern for them. I hate to see their parking lot empty when the food is so delicious.

Please be extra careful to collect back the receipt. Once I forgot to collect my customer copy of my bill and they added an extra tip of 8$ and charged my card. Very dishonest place. I am 200% sure that I didn't add that amount as tip and I have no way to prove it.

There was no power, we sat in dark for half of our lunch. Food was bad bad, chutney was spoiled and was smelling when I ate. Never never going back, bad experience and too expensive for what variety they offer. There are other much cleaner and better indian restaurants.

First, it smelled like cat urine in the entrance, which is very concerning. didn't taste good. Everything was watered down and very marinara-y instead flavored with spices. the goulab jamun was very shriveled and the center was dry, there were many bones in the chicken curries, and the rice was dry. I couldn't finish the platter.
