House on Fire, Mule Canyon, Utah
#landscapephotography , #photographyworkflow

How would you like to live in a location like this? This is one of the many American Indian ruins you find in this area. This particular ruins has chipped ceiling so that when photographed at appropriate time it resembles flames coming out of the house.

How was this photograph created?
This was perhaps one of the most simple photograph to capture. It uses reflected light to the create the colors and patterns you see in this image. The entire scene you see here is in shade....and the reflected light is bouncing of the chipped ceiling to create flames. All you have to do is to get here at the right time, point your camera and shoot. The photoshop adjustment was limited to just slight contrast adjustments.

This is one of the locations featured in our new learning to see ebook: http://www.jaypatelphotography.com/photography/ebooks/ebook-learning-to-see
