Nice atmosphere with alot of tvs. The bartender was friendly when we could get her attention. But that was just it, we always has to ask for something. Never once were we asked if we wanted another beer etc. Like I said, once we asked she was super friendly. Good place to watch the games though. Would come back

Went here after arriving in Boston as it was close to our hotel. Bar was not too busy so we got a table quickly. Our server Amy was polite, friendly and efficient. We ordered snacky food as we were not too hungry - the food was simple but very tasty. By the time we left the bar was very busy which demonstrates its popularity. Well worth a visit.

besides it being free its exactly that okay. just because of the two lines u have to stand on first to get in and the second to go downstairs to the dance floor/bar drinks are okay the music is okay just wish the dj would play a little more hip hop i requested a song and the dj said they cant play hip hop because its "too violent"

Classic Irish bar, perfect for watching any sports game you're into. It's much bigger than it looks from the outside, with a huge basement and separate back bar. The food is pretty standard pub fare, two highlights would be the nachos and the short rib grilled cheese.

we asked our server, how much time the appetizer will take, and she said "it is getting ready unless you want it raw... or if you want frozen" and with an attitude... been to many bars, never heard anything like this.. may be they are too busy to serve customer

Typical after work and late night bar. They have the cheapest drinks you will find in the backbay area but the place can get packed so be ware. Most weekend nights the line can get long so be ready to wait a while The first floor can get pretty busy and late night the basement floor fills up for dancing. The food menu is typical bar fare, bugers, fries, nacho's ect. The food is decent and well priced.

Huge bar with a lot of different side rooms. This would be a great place to host events. Food-wise, the buffalo wings are a must, while the nachos are a little sub par. The grilled chicken sandwich is really good and so is the lobster enchilada. Clery's has the NFL football ticket so on sundays this makes a great place to watch all the games!

Exactly what you want in a neighborhood bar. Conveniently located? absolutely; right next to the Back Bay T station and parking lots. Takes credit cards? Yup - ain't no one got time to go to the ATM. Has a dark dark dance floor that is not dissimilar to that frat house, with the sticky floors? OH YES. You, too, can get your dance-on in the basement playing Top 40, lit only by the faint light of the TV (usually on random infomercials) in the corner. Also, if you're a lady looking to mingle, this is the perfect place to be on a Thursday-Saturday night. Half-star off for the lines. PLURAL because there's one outside to get into Clery's, and then there's one inside to get to the debauchery of the basement.
