This place is amazing! Chicken katsu with unlimited cabbage is just the best. Yellow pickles are awesome. The dressing that goes with the cabbage is awesome. Sometimes the service is weird but it doesn't take away from the overall experience.

Went here with my fiance for hot-pot. It was a nice, first-time experience. Chinese herbal chicken was great in the end. BBQ sauce was not good. They definitely need to expand their sauce options.

It's a great place. A bit pricey but it is a Manhattan restaurant. Food is great, music is not overbearing, ambiance is wonderful, staff are helpful and funny...good times, good times. I highly recommend the Akumaru Modern and the pork buns. Yum!

Grubhub order. Now this meal was about 20 minutes late (after already waiting an hour) but sometimes I can forgive a late meal when it's really good...but this place did not serve good food. I called the restaurant to ask if my order was on its way and they were nice so I didn't have a negative experience with their customer service. Now for the food. I ordered maduros and pernil. The maduros were too stiff and not tasty and the pernil was too salty. The rice and beans that came with the meal were the only highlight of that whole experience but they still weren't worth it. Some of the beans were under-cooked but the rice managed to be cooked to how it normally should be. It was a real waste of money. If you like sub-par food, please, order from here as much as you like.

Three stars because the delivery is terrible and the customer service is mediocre. I ordered an hour after they opened, thinking it was a good time to order, and I get a call saying that my food is going to be late because they're "waiting for the delivery man" (to arrive to work, I guess?). Couldn't get clear details as to why (language barrier) so my food ended up coming 1 hour later than stated. Surprisingly, food was hot and tasty so I suggest just going directly to this restaurant because they are not ready for the online ordering business.

I placed an order at about 8:50pm and then receive a phone call from the restaurant at 8:54pm informing me that the pizza would take 60 - 90 minutes to arrive and that when it does arrive, I should present my credit card to the delivery person. I do not agree with this at all. Afterward, I called at around 9:14pm and said to the woman that I shall come and pick up my pizza instead since the walk from my apartment to the pizza store was only 16 minutes. She puts me on hold for about one minute and then says the delivery guy already left so I should stay where I am until he comes. So the delivery guy comes at 10:05pm and the pizza is not only cool and requires me to reheat it (and it was just average) but they forgot a part of my order (two extra sauces...not that big of a deal but I wasn't giving away my money...I wanted something in return for it). I would like to say that I am never ordering from this outlet of Papa John's again. Please hire more competent people.

This is a really nice place to go to if you're a first time hookah user. We went there on V-day before 7pm so there wasn't a lot of people but around 8pm, people started pouring in. The service was very good (a bit overbearing at times but it's better to have servers who care vs not giving a crap). There was a nice-sized list of hookah flavors and prices. I'm not an expert on hookahs but my bf is an experienced user and he had a wonderful time. "Very good quality hookah." We only had appetizers, which were pretty good (hummus and chicken fingers), so the bill didn't turn out to be ridiculous. The music they played was a bit random but nothing too bad (one would think to play love-themed songs for Valentine's day at the very least). The lighting was a nice, soft, low-light area. There's no relianle heating set up so you might end up wearing your winter wear for a period of time before you warm up. I highly recommend this place during a less crowded time.
