Why do Confined Space Training?
Causes of most confine space entry incidents are due to employers and workers failing to recognise and control hazards associated with confined spaces.

inadequate or incorrect emergency response, resulting in the death of the worker entering or the rescuer or both.

Confined spaces can be deadly because of the potential for engulfment, oxygen deficiency, oxygen enrichment, flammable gases or vapors, combustible dusts, toxic substances and other physical hazards.

Other health hazards that may affect the worker's safety include:

mechanical equipment
electrical equipment
biohazards - chemicals
poor visibility
claustrophobia
noise
temperature and/or radiation

Training is a MUST for any worker entering confined spaces - if proper precautions are not taken incidents or fatalities can happen!
The confined space should be continuously MONITORED to determine whether the sphere has changed due to the work being performed.
