What Is The Best Treatment for PKD with Blood Urine
Questions: I am suffering from PKD and now blood urine troubles me too. What should I do? What is the best treatment for PKD with blood urine?
A:
Answers: The blood urine may be a result of cysts rupture. The cysts in your kidneys may have probably grown up and cause damage to your surrounding kidney tissues. Without taking treatment in time and properly, the cysts will continue growing bigger and more and more kidney tissues will be damaged. Your blood urine will become more serious.
The best treatment is thought to be able to shrink cysts and repair the damaged kidney tissues. So here Hot Compress Therapy is suggested to take. It is a natural treatment developed from the Traditional Chinese Medicine. Designed for achieving such a purpose, it has received a good reaction in clinic. The effective herbal ingredients will be permeated into kidneys through the Shenshu acupoints. They can expand the blood vessels and increase the reabsorption ability. Also, it can stop the growth of the cyst by preventing the cystic epithelial cells from secreting cystic fluids. At the same time, it will repair the damaged kidney cells and improving kidney function.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one kind of treatment method which uses fine needles at specific points on the body's surface to restore and maintain health. Acupuncture is part of a system of medicine that has been practiced in China for several thousand years which includes herbal medicine, dietary therapy and manipulation. Modern science has shown that acupuncture stimulates the brain to produce natural pain relieving chemicals called endorphins. These can assist the body in healing itself and give pain relief. The traditional view is that"Qi" flows around the body in channels. If the Qi is flowing freely then the body is in a healthy state. If there is a problem, energy stagnates. The stimulation of appropriate acupuncture points frees this stagnation.

Take Fish Oil to Make Dialysis Work Better
According to a new study published in Kidney International, omega-3 fatty acids like those found in fish oil may protect dialysis patients from sudden cardiac death. The researchers looked at blood levels of omega-3 fatty acids in 400 dialysis patients, 100 of whom died in their first year of treatment. The risk of sudden cardiac death is highest during the first year of dialysis.
"We found that higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids in the blood of patients who were just starting hemodialysis were very strongly associated with a lower risk of sudden cardiac death over the first year of their treatment," said study author Allon N. Friedman, MD, of the Indiana University School of Medicine, in a press release. "This study is a first step toward identifying a possible treatment for sudden cardiac death in dialysis patients," added Dr. Friedman.

Tests to help detect early signs of kidney disease.
The microalbumin test.
This test tracks excess protein in the urine, a condition known as microalbuminuria. A normal urine albumin level is less than 30 milligrams. Anything above that level is an early sign of kidney disease. The standard urine dipstick used in doctors’ offices is not accurate enough to measure this; a special machine is required. Ask your healthcare provider about the microalbumin test or the albumin-creatinine ratio. If the results are abnormal, I recommend repeating the test one month later.
Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) test.
GFR is a simple and effective test that measures your blood creatinine levels. If your kidney function decreases, your creatinine levels increase. By routinely measuring the glomerular filtration rate of your kidneys, your healthcare provider can see how efficiently your kidneys are filtering your blood. This is an important indicator of how well your kidneys are functioning. The blood-sample creatinine results are plugged into a formula that estimates your kidneys’ filtering capacity.

Fishy Breath: Kidney Failure
Fishy breath isn't always from seafood: A mouth that smells fishy, urine-like, or similar to ammonia may indicate kidney failure.
The kidneys are responsible for removing toxic chemicals from the blood by creating urine. In kidney failure, also known as end-stage renal disease, the kidneys become so damaged that they are no longer able to filter waste products and toxic chemicals from the blood. When this happens, the dangerous toxins and waste not discharged from the body accumulate and affect nearly every part of the body. The fishy breath odor can occur when kidney failure affects the respiratory system and causes breathing problems.
