What a fabulous place! Everything was on point. I attended Mother's Day Brunch with my Mom and Grandmother. It was obviously a popular place to be since there were a ton of people there, but the staff did a great job of keeping things moving at a nice pace. They offered a FREE mimosa for each mom which was super nice! (they were not bottomless like other reviews suggest). I was really impressed with the variety of food as well. My family and I are very picky eaters and much to our surprise we all loved everything we tried. The food was delicious and HOT, which is a challenge when preparing meals for so many people. There was a wide range to choose from- something for everyone. We especially loved the dill cheese, and when my Grandma asked where it was from our server Jen made it her mission to find out for her. We had fantastic service and we were all well taken care of. Overall everything was on point and that's coming from a family that is usually a little hard to please ;) We will definitely be back again! Thank you for your impeccable hospitality.

I attended the Mothers Day brunch for the first time this year after hearing from other friends and family that they had attended and loved it in the past. We were very pleased with our experience and glad we chose to try it out. Being 8 months pregnant, having a picky mother in law and bringing a teenager, it offered a wide variety for us 3 alike! We were greeted with a Mother's Day gift and immediately escorted to our table with a great second story view from all angles where we were offered drinks and a free mimosa for moms! We loved how all of the food was already ready and everything was beautifully presented. Our favorite was the beef stroganoff and the champaigne chicken as well as the uniquely seasoned vegetables and even loved the Mac and cheese from the kids bar! Desserts were perfect sized for sampling including Oreo cheesecake and a really good chocolate cake. The server offered hot coffee when we sat down with a dessert assortment we shared which was very nice. Although we did not win, they did have a lot of drawings for free gifts and prizes and a photo booth that made it fun. Overall, would love to go back for another Mothers Day event. This was well organized, staff were very personable and made for a very nice place to bring a guest and to not have to worry about cooking and entertaining being a mom myself. Thank you HDCC!

For Mother's Day this year we went to their Mother's Day Brunch. Overall it was okay. Personally I feel like it was WAY overpriced for what was offered. There was more "dinner" menu items than breakfast/brunch menu items. The only breakfast items that was offered was an egg dish with onions and peppers, a french toast bake and bacon and sausage. All the other dishes were things such as salmon, chicken, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, of which all these items were very under seasoned. I understand buffet food can be tricky with cooking and I am understanding when it comes to that but when I am paying $26.00 per person I expect the quality to be much higher. I was SUPER confused as to why I was charged 18% gratuity when the staff did nothing but clean plates and even at that they did not keep up with it. You had to get your own beverages from the bar if you wanted to and any juices or coffee you had to get up and get yourself. I am all about gratuity when it is deserved and the 18% was not deserved. We had to ask for our "free" mimosa's for all the mothers at the table after we had been sitting there for 15 minuets without them. If I am paying for a brunch that is $26.00 per person I expect there to be an omelet station and some good prime rib. None of those were options. I had to change the number of people on my original ticket from 9 adults to 4 adults 1 senior and 2 children. I had to go up and try to pay 3 times because the gentleman at the bar had no clue what he was doing. After all that I was expecting him to compensate me in some way for my trouble.....nothing was given. It was a very frustrating and expensive experience and I will not be returning for Mother's Day Brunch or for a potential wedding venue. It is not worth the money.

I book t-times for a travelling golf league on Sunday mornings. We played Heatherdowns CC on September 7, 2014. Golf course was in great shape. The greens were fast and true and the best part was that the rough was cut to a fair length. In the past it was almost US open long and made a challenging course very difficult. Dan has the place very busy as a result of his hard work and positive personality. we played in 4 1/2 hrs on a Sunday morning . Slow golf makes everyone unhappy. We were pleased with the condition of the course, the friendly staff and the way Dan came out to see us himself on the back nine to see how we were doing. Heatherdowns is definitely back in the rotation.

Just the fact someone got kicked off for playing too slow makes this course a five star. Besides that it is a good layout and kept in good shape. Front nine is mostly open back nine has lots of trees. Don't play after a heavy rain though.

I had my wedding reception there this past weekend and it was a dream! Everything was perfect! Gina and her staff are amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure my day was wonderful, and it was! They treated me like a queen with my own waitress who attended to me all night! I am so happy in my choice of venue!
