Dr. Wulffson is a graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has a special interest and training in ultrasound. While an undergraduate at UCLA, he was enrolled in an honors research program in genetics. He served as a captain in the US Army for two years. The first year, he was stationed in Vietnam and served as a battalion surgeon for the 2/77 Artillery, 25th Infantry. The second year was spent practicing obstetrics and gynecology at Kenner Army Hospital, Ft. Lee Virginia. Following his military stint, he was a resident physician at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. He then practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Orange County, California. For more than a decade, Dr. Wulffson has worked full time writing in the medical field. Among his many writing projects, he publishes articles on women’s health on the Internet on a regular basis, has edited numerous papers for Asian physicians, and has worked several years as a healthcare analyst.
