This was Irwin Allen's last attempt at a TV series, I believe. You'll notice Allen cheaped out here by reusing the props and even some film stock from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Lost in Space. If you watch carefully, you'll be able to pick out those items.

Why is she reading and quoting from the bible when Japan is primarily a Shinto nation?

House of Soul--the most sparsely attended hot spot around!

How does the place stay open?

As I continue to re-watch this old series, the scenes used to pad out the run time become more and more blatantly obvious.

A guy is running through the campus who happens to look EXACTLY like their recently-deceased star quarterback, and no one marvels at the sight?

Didn't take long for everyone to waste away to skeletons, eh?

This was, according to interviews done with Mickey Dolenz and others, The Monkees attempt at a stealth ant-war (Vietnam) song that would make it past NBC Standards and Practices. Clarksville was a POE for overseas-bound military, hence the hidden meaning of the lyric "..and I don't know if I'm ever coming home."

"Oh come on, he (Nightman) doesn't kill innocent people!"

Really? All those prior episodes stretching back to Season 1 would say otherwise.

Wow. A really pretty girl sits behind two guys who never look around and even notice her?

So let's see if I've got this straight: the cop belts an unarmed woman unconscious surrounded by people who have no idea who he is or why he did it. Not only does no one do anything, but our main characters in the scene ignore the unconscious and possibly injured woman on the ground (bystanders apparently are taking care of her) and simply walk away unhindered by anyone.

Later, Nightman hurls the bad guy off of a cliff to his death in front of reporter, then rips the videocamera out of her hands in order to destroy the tape that proves his actions.

Our hero, ladies and gentlemen, with his cronies.

By the way, whatever did finally become of the woman knocked unconscious? She was not placed under arrest as far as I know, and still knows the secret of our Hero's true identity.
