Hey everyone,

I'm doing Extra Life next weekend, playing D&D Adventurers League games to raise money to help out children's hospitals. I'm playing to help support Lauren Small Children's Medical Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.

I'm going to be doing Weekend in the Moonsea at GMI Games in Riverside, Nov 7-8. If you want to donate to a worthy cause, here's the link where you can do so!

+Mischa Krilov +Richard Rogers

Hi! You both asked the same question within hours of each other -- is this a cosmic coincidence or are you in the same gaming group? :)

Roger, you said you were running WMHS on the 28th -- sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner. This weekend has been a moving weekend for me and my family, as we packed up and moved two hours away.

The question was, paraphrased: Okay, so in Wandering Monsters High School, what the heck does it mean to have a Levy of 6 or an Edge of 1? Also the same as "what does a Special Needs value of 6 mean?"

And the correct answer is: Well, I was going to change that rule at some point, but I didn't, so now the Official Answer is: A Levy of 6 or an Edge of 1 doesn't do anything. A Special Need with a rating of 6 is just there for roleplay purposes really and has no mechanical effect on the game.

If I ever get around to doing a second edition of WMHS, I'll fix this problem. WMHS was my first game, I didn't know as much about game design then as I do now (and I still have a lot to learn), and somehow that got left in there without getting fixed. Apologies!

+Christian Hundahl shares some of his campaign's characters from The Queen's Cavaliers.
Here is a couple of character sketches made by my group's newest player, Thomas. On the left is his character Lucille, a dragoon/courtier, and the right is an earlier character concept that didn't make it as a full-fledged chracter. TQC really seems to get my players all creative!

My friends' baby stroller was stolen today, Christmas Eve day. Can you help make their holiday less awful?

A character from a game of The Queen's Cavaliers! Pretty cool, huh?
We've seen a lot of great character art from the kickstarter project over the last few months, so I thought I'd add some player made chracter art from one of my own players, Nina, to my new blog

Look up some of her other work on Devianart...

Here's a quick preview of one of the things currently being worked on by our cartographer, Robert Altbauer -- this is a work-in-progress, and when it's done, it will be a map of Lutetia, the capital city of Gallinea in The Queen's Cavaliers.
