UPDATE: took it down to the service centre, the guy there told me it would cost around 13,000 Indian rupees to fix it (approx US $200~)
Had a minor heart attack! And walked out of there :p

I seriously doubt it would cost that much to even get a Rolex serviced. This is clearly a huge drawback for smartwatches. (Or atleast samsung gear line) .

He told me that I could still use the watch as usual and that the glass won't drop out. Whether that will hold good is something only time will tell.

But for the time being I'm off this entire smartwatch craze. Going back grandpa style to my good old swatch.

Slipped while I was putting it on today. Dropped it from maybe about waist height, landed on the hard floor. (Edge took most of the impact)

Didn't expect it to be so fragile.

With all this gear s2 hype, I was wondering what about last year's gear2 and gear s smartwatches. Samsung is completely silent on this.
I know they are a completely different form factor from the new gear s2. But still is Samsung going to give them some sort of a modified tizen update or is it safe to say that people who own the gear s or gear2 should flush them down the toilet?.

Any thoughts?

Is there a higher capacity battery available for the note 3?? My existing battery is almost dead, barely lasts for day.. and lollipop has made things worse.
Any suggestions. ..

So I have Google Fit installed on my note3. This morning the alarm went off and unfortunately the phone kept vibrating for a long time. (:p)

Google fit decided to count that as steps taken. (I barely manage to get up to 3000 steps a day :p)
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi. I updated my note 3 to lollipop yesterday all seems fine barring the Bluetooth. My Car audio player (Alpine cde w235ebt) connects to the phone as normal via bluetooth but the next song, previous and pause buttons do not work any longer. Any advice on getting it working again?

Does anyone know why i keep getting this android wear notification?

I do not own an android wear device, nor have I ever connected one to my phone.
I've tried rebooting, but that only temporarily solves the problem as the notification reappear after a while.

Any ideas?
