Excellent food and service! We've been there several times as a couple and a group. Always the same excellent food and service. Unfortunately, this time we met the owner...a heavy-set older woman with very poor taste in clothing. Sorry...she left a very bad taste in our mouths (no pun intended). We three couples each had a Groupon. Unfortunately, the Groupon states "one per table". We can accept that. After our sweet server contacted the owner, we had the extreme displeasure of meeting with her. She was antagonistic and just downright nasty from the moment she appeared at our table and actually very rudely elbowed our server, who was trying to apologize . What happened to "the customer is always right", just plain offering a gentle, quiet explanation, while building rapport so that we may return? Not to mention supporting your employee who was trying to smooth the situation? We have several more Groupons for Bella Frutteto, but our experience with her was so poor that we may just call it a loss.

Good for the 'burbs. Only the prices compare the Meat and Potatoes or Salt of the Earth, the food doesn't come close (ok NaCl is a bit more but worth every penny). If you're in the area it might be one of the better options. My wife and I rarely get a kid free night, for us it's worth an extra 15 minute drive to one of our favorite restaurants. We shared a mozzarella risotto appetizer. It was a bit too fried, couldn't taste much of the risotto. I had the "Strip Gorgonzola" and my wife had a cranberry and almond salmon. The steak was supposed to be rare but was barely pink. The quality of the steak was such that I'm glad it wasn't as rare as I wanted. As with the appetizer the salmon had a thick, greasy crust and the fish was a bit dry. Both were ok but for the price I certainly expected more. Overall I was disappointed, for a few dollars more per entree I could have had a meal, at one of my favorite restaurants, that would have knocked not my socks off.

Its a great local restaurant. There menu is great and so is the food. The atmosphere is really nice. There drink menu is surprisingly good as well. This place has a really good "gluten free" menu (if your like my wife who needs this option).

Really nice, consistently good food. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Apple ravioli is unique and delicious.
