I love this place. The menu is different, the food is fantastic and the staff are great. They do specials which keeps the variety there too. Definitely worth a couple of visits per week !

The bacon served with variety of their breakfasts is truly outstanding, worth a visit if only for that, but the coffee matches it! Highly recommended early morning meeting point.

Very disappointing experience at pepper crescent earlier today. I ordered the cheese and chutney sandwich with salad and crisps. Why did the sandwich therefore come laden with mayonnaise ? I hate the stuff and it was not stated that the sandwich contained this on the menu. What would have happened if I was allergic to egg eh ? When asked by the waitress if everything was OK, I said I don't like mayonnaise, and that their menu should state that their sandwiches might contain it. This seemed to go in one ear and out of the other, no offer of a replacement sandwich or deducting it off the bill. So we paid up and left. It was also very expensive, close to 10 quid for a sandwich which I did not eat and a ginger beer. I won't be going there again in a hurry.
