Notice to all Teton Photography Group members using GooglePlus.

We have been reviewing our use of electronic resources for the TPG in an attempt to improve communication with our members and at the same time become more efficient in our electronic media use. We have found that far more than 90% of our electronic traffic is on Facebook. We have 76 members on GooglePlus and over 850 members on Facebook.

Even though GgooglePlus and the Google suite of products has far more features and is preferred by many of us, it is clear that Facebook has won the social media battle.

Because of this we will no longer support and provide updates about future TPG activities on GooglePlus. I am sorry for those who prefer this media and invite you to join us on Facebook via the link below.

If you have questions or comments about this decision, please contact the TPG at:

I am delighted to announce the new Teton Photography Group monthly newsletter, Straight Shooter, is available on our Facebook site.

At the December Business and Planning meeting we discussed ways to improve communication among our members and increase the ease of access to our electronic resources. The newsletter has brief, to the point articles with electronic links to our website, social media sites, and other validated electronic resources. All announcements about future TPG events and activities are listed in the newsletter and you will not receive additional email notifications.

I hope you will enjoy the sample newsletter and send your comments and suggestions for how we can further improve our member communication.

After January 2015, the newsletter will be available for registered TPG subscribers/members only. If you wish to become a registered member send your contact information to: You will be added to our registered mailing list and asked to join the Art Association of Jackson Hole. Once your AAJH membership is confirmed, you will receive the newsletter each month and all other full member benefits.

We will continue to post meeting topics, presenters, and times on our social media sites and on our web page. January is a busy month for photography activities and I hope to see you soon.

Everyone who wishes to take part is welcome.  No need for fancy gear.

If you want to volunteer to help build a photographic record of the event, email Nina Luxmoore Lenz, Photography Team Captain of Old Bill's Fun Run 2014 at: She will provide you with details.
